Richard (Dick) Wagner, Charter SCCAA member (BJC Class of ‘54), passed away July 20, 2010 at the age of 76. As retired Burlington High School Athletic Director, Dick drew on his experience to assist College officials in planning the baseball/softball complex, which came to be named for him, at the West Burlington Campus. |

Florence Winifred (Winnie) Witte, Charter SCCAA member (BJC Class of ‘30), passed away Nov. 18, 2010 at the age of 99. A long-time area educator, Winnie joined the SCC Alumni Association in 1992 and, as a member of RSVP, helped the fledgling SCCAA with its first large bulk mailings. She loved sports and was a regular at SCC men’s Blackhawk basketball games for many years. |

James E.Yohe, Trust manager of the Clifford Lloyd & Winona Rynott Yohe Charitable Remainder Unitrust, passed away August 13, 2010 in Evansville, IN at the age of 78. Since 1997, earnings on his parents’ perpetual fund has provided 1,594 scholarship awards totaling $868,997. Jim was very proud that this total neared the amount of the initial $1,000,000 endowed gift. |
