SCC Women's Basketballl

SCC loses to Iowa Lakes 67 to  55 Friday nite. NIACC game Saturday postponed to Jan. 9th.

Friday nite the Blackhawks lost to the Lakers 67 to 55. Iowa Lakes jumped out to a 39 - 21 halftime lead. The Hawks fought back in the second half closed the the gap to 57 to 53 with 3 minutes remaining but two strait turnoves and a couple of missed shots were the difference in the game. Lidi Garcia led the Hawks in scoring with 19 points.

SCC Blackhawks beat Ellsworth 78 to 68.

The Blackhawks played maybe their best game of the year. From start to finish the Hawks played with that passion and confidence that has been missing from some earlier games. Johnnika Nash led the Hawks in scoring with 22 points

Blackhawks beat Carl Sanburg to run their record to 7 and 3.

Friday nite the SCC Blackhawks defeated  Carl Sanburg 66 to 56. Hazaria Washington led the Hawks in scoring with 15 points.

Tuesday nite the SCC Blackhawks raced out to a 49 to 11 halftime lead and never looked back as they defeated the William Penn jv 97 to 42. The Blackhawks placed five players in double figures. Johnnika Nash and Lidi Garcia led the Hawks in scoring with 17 points apiece followed by Gina Pena with 13 and Cherelle Hicks and Breana McCullough with 10.
